Yoshie was my first Shiba. His will always be special to me for giving me a lot of firsts in showing. He was my first Champion, he gave me my first Best of Breed which gave me my first trip into the group ring, and he gave me my first Best In Show (UKC).
Yoshie made quite an impact in the ring, both AKC and UKC. By show 3 AKC, Yoshie had 9 points (both majors) and 2 Best of Breed wins over specials. By show 4 UKC, Yoshie had a Group 3, Group 2, Group 1, Best In Show and a New Championship. He was shown as a special only a handful of times, which gave him Best of Breeds more times than not.
Yoshie is now neutered and retired from the show ring due to hereditary cataracts and PRA.
