**Emiko made her debut at the Colonial Shiba Classic (NIPPO) show and she placed an impressive 2nd place and received 4 point towards her NIPPO USA Championship. She was expertly handled by her favorite person, her daddy, Jere.**
Emiko came to us when she was 8 months old. In her first ring experience she won a Puppy Group 2 at the Penn Treaty KC Match then the next day, Emiko won WB/BOS for her first point at the Penn Treaty KC Show. By show 7, Emiko gathered a total of 12 points including a 4 point major win. On August 13, 2005, Emiko won WB/BOW/BP for another 4 point major to complete her championship. Emiko was trained by Jere and her first 6 points we earned with Jere showing her.
Emiko was specialed on a very limited basis and gathered more BOS than BOB wins.
On March 11, 2007, Emiko returned to her breeders home due to a co-ownership disagreement and will remain there. This was the hardest decision we ever had to make but we felt that it was in the best intrest for all parties involved.
Emiko left her mark here at Kiralia, by giving us 3 gorgeous girls to carry on in her absence.
On Friday, January 25, 2008 I received an email from Joan Morningstar demanding that I remove this page from my website. She gave me until January 31, 2008 to do so. Jere and I decided that this page will remain since we co-owned, trained, showed and finished, and did all Emiko's health checks. Emiko is listed under the heading "Past/Retired Shibas". We still till this day feel that returning Emiko was in the best interest for all parties involved, however she has been and always will be missed dearly.
