About Kiralia Shiba Inus
Kiralia Shiba Inus is a small show kennel located in Mesa, Arizona. We are dedicated to breeding and showing the Shiba Inu. We have been showing dogs now for 12 years and have bred and/or owned Best In Show (UKC), Reserve Best In Show (UKC), Group Winning (AKC/UKC), Group Placing (AKC/UKC), and Number 1 Ranked Shibas (UKC).
We feel that health and temperament are the most important aspects to maintaining the Shiba Inu. That is why all of our dogs are health tested before they are bred.
We only breed one litter a year in hopes of keeping something to continue our breeding program. All other puppies are sold on Spay/Neuter contracts. All homes are thoroughly checked out to make sure that it is the proper living environment for our puppies. Occasionally we may have show puppies available on co-ownerships only. Our Shibas are also raised in our home and well socialized.
We not only breed to adhere to the AKC standard but we try to adhere to the Nippo standard as well. We feel that it is very important to try to preserve the Shiba Inu as best we can. We feel that type, structure, and movement should never come second to a fluffy, pretty Shiba that does not fit the standard but looks good standing there.
We recently incorporated some highly recognized Japanese pedigrees into our breeding program in hopes to improve the quality of the Shiba Inu here in the US. Our Shiba, Koma has multiple Nippo Grand National winners in her pedigree. Most Shibas cannot boast one let alone 2 winners. Koma is the Great Grand Daughter to the 2001 Best In Show Grand National Winner, Shino Go Sanuki Mizumotos and a Grand Daughter to the 2008 Best of Breed Winner, Takechiyo Go Sanuki Mizumotoso. Our boy Saijoo is the son to the Top Producing Stud Dog in US history, Ch. Tenkuu Go Etchuu Wakasugisou. Our other boy, Kuromasa has some highly recognized Black/Tan Shibas in his pedigree.
